About Me

I love to sew, and I live to create; whether it’s a wedding gown for a client or a birthday cake for a friend, I am happiest when I am turning a vision in my mind into something in real life that others can appreciate and enjoy. While my official job title is bridal designer, sometimes I think I’m more comfortable with the label ‘crazy seamstress,’ as I’ve been known to hole myself up in my studio for days on end obsessing over sixteenths of inches in order to make sure whatever gown I’m working on turns out perfectly.
I moved to New York City in the summer of 2000 — straight out of high school — to study fashion design at Parsons and graduated in 2004 as a Designer of the Year Nominee and Gold Thimble Award Winner. Since then I have been making handmade wedding and evening gowns for clients around the world and have also worked as a pattern and sample maker for Vera Wang, Isaac Mizrahi, Donna Karan and J. Mendel.
